Long walks and familiar company mean a great deal to Marian Parker and her dog, Luna.
Following the sudden death of Geoff, Marian’s husband of more than 50 years, Luna became an especially important presence in her life. Caring for her dog’s wellbeing is part of looking after a companion who has given Marian so much in return.

Meet Luna
Luna is Marian’s fourth Rough Collie. Five and a half at the time Marian shared their story, she lives in Devon with her owner, a retired librarian.
A companion with plenty of character
Luna had been mischievous from the beginning. On her first night with the family, she dug up the bedroom carpet. Another memorable moment involved walking up to Geoff with a toilet roll in her mouth, leaving a trail of paper behind her.
Those memories remain precious to Marian. Today, Luna keeps her company at home and joins her for the long walks they enjoy together.
An unexpected change at home
Marian first noticed Luna’s little leaks while drinking her morning coffee. There was a small puddle beneath the kitchen table, one of Luna’s favourite resting spots.
During a visit, Luna’s regular groomer suggested trying Bladder Support for Dogs.
Marian had bought Healthspan supplements for herself for around 20 years, so she felt comfortable giving the product a try.
Becoming part of the evening routine
Bladder Support for Dogs is formulated to support healthy bladder function and urinary tract health. It contains pumpkin seed, D-mannose, cranberry, N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, inulin and L-tryptophan.
The chicken-flavoured capsules can be opened and their contents sprinkled over food, making them easy to include at mealtimes.
By the time Marian shared her experience, Luna had been taking the supplement daily for four months, as part of her evening feeding routine.
Marian said she noticed a change quite quickly.
“I’m not getting puddles like I did.”
Caring for a much-loved friend
For Marian, supporting Luna’s wellbeing is about the everyday life they share: familiar routines, time outdoors and the comfort of having her close.
Luna’s cheeky character has made her a memorable member of the family. Her companionship has made her indispensable.
“I’d be lost without her,” says Marian.
